EDICTS OF THE SYNOD OF PARIS
The Synod of Paris was conducted in the early 7th century under Chlothar II, who had recently re-united the Frankish realm and sought a joint assembly a clergyman and nobles to discuss legislation and reform within his realm. Its remains as one of the oldest single pieces of French law.
